Eclipseboro Park

For a rural Texas eclipse-viewing experience, visitors reserved campsites at Eclipseboro Park. The location featured playgrounds, a nature trail, butterfly garden, yard games, family-friendly outdoor movies, and free admission to Star Party in the Park.
Eclipseboro Landing

For a festive eclipse experience in the heart of Texas, visitors reserved RV campsites at Eclipseboro Landing, formerly the Outlets at Hillsboro. The site also hosted the Cosmic Cowboy Eclipse Festival and a carnival by Triple T Amusements.
Eclipseboro Airport

Pilots reserved aircraft parking at Hillsboro Municipal Airport, then headed into town or stayed on site for an incredible eclipse-viewing experience.
North Texas Airstream Community

Airstream travelers gathered at the North Texas Airstream Community for a full schedule of food, astronomy, and entertainment, including a special appearance by Antsy McLain of the Trailer Park Troubadours. Guests spent time on the Terraport and connected with fellow Airstreamers April 6–8, 2024.
Eclipse Country Cottage 254

Guests stayed at this country cottage set on four acres with easy access to amenities, dining, and the freeway. The guesthouse offered a comfortable home base with a refrigerator, coffeemaker, pullout sofa, two TVs, WiFi, and more during the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse.

Guests stayed on this 100-acre property located in the path of totality, featuring a two-bedroom, one-bath barndominium. The secluded setting offered minimal artificial light and space for larger groups, with additional campers available for extra accommodations. Located in Hill County near Lake Aquilla, approximately 11 miles from Hillsboro.
Texas Through Time RV/Bus Parking

RV and bus travelers stayed at Texas Through Time, with space for up to five units parked next to the historic Junior College building just a few blocks from downtown. Guests had access to an Eclipse Watch Party on April 8 and were within walking distance of weekend events and activities.
Sites were self-contained with no utility hookups, though portable restrooms were available. The clean, level asphalt lot offered privacy fencing on three sides in a quiet neighborhood setting.
Oasis Campgrounds

Travelers stayed at Oasis Campground, which offered a range of accommodations to fit different preferences and budgets, including RV sites, travel trailer rentals, tent camping, and glamping experiences.

Travelers stayed at Cosmic Cowboy Campgrounds, located just a few miles from the Cosmic Cowboy Eclipse Festival, which featured artists including Pat Green, Giovanni and the Hired Guns, and Chris Janson. The site offered convenient access to I-35, nearby restaurants, Buc-ee’s, and Hillsboro’s historic downtown.
The campground accommodated RVs of all sizes for dry camping, with RV rentals also available for guests without their own setup.

Guests stayed at the Walnut Street House, a comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood just off I-35. The property featured a newly renovated kitchen and a fully enclosed, shaded backyard for children and pets.
Conveniently located near Walmart, it offered easy access to Eclipseboro Landing, Eclipseboro Park, and downtown Hillsboro during the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse.
Eclipse Hillsboro RV Camp

Travelers stayed at this family-owned, five-acre property near the centerline of totality, offering unobstructed views in a rural setting. RV camping was available across approximately 4.5 acres, with on-site hosts and access to propane, water, and septic clean-out services during the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse.
Puckettsville Solar Eclipse 2024

Travelers stayed at Puckettsville, a rural, wide-open setting that hosted a full weekend of activities April 4–8, 2024. Programming included live gospel music, spoken word, food vendors, and family-friendly activities, with pet-friendly accommodations available.
Diamond Rock Ranch
Travelers stayed at Diamond Rock Ranch, a rural property offering a peaceful, nature-focused setting away from city lights during the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse. Guests enjoyed wooded trails, a pond, and easy access to Hillsboro and Lake Whitney, both located just a few miles away.
Sites were grass-based and approximately 25’ x 25’, accommodating both tents and RVs, and included fire pits with provided firewood.
